I've recently retired from being a lecturer in Computing, in particular Cybersecurity and Software Development, after almost 25 years.
My career began in record keeping with the Civil Service, and quickly progressed to accountancy and finance - specifically Joint Ventures in the oil and gas industry.
After a career break to raise two children, I retrained in computing (specifically software development) and now work almost exclusively in computing and IT. My specialist areas are: object oriented design and implementation; computer games design and development; low level assembly code programming for engineering applications; and most recently, cyber security. I have already developed courses at HND level (University undergraduate level 2) for Data Security and Host-based Forensics using OSF, FTK and EnCase versions 7 and 8. I am currently working on courses for ethical hacking and am about to start researching suitable topics for my MSc dissertation.
I'm also qualified to teach English to Speakers of Other Languages.
You can contact me on Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn; alternatively, please email me! If you have a special project needing an extra pair of hands, feel free to request my CV (resume) if you think I may be able to help. I'm looking forward to hearing from you!
